Went fishing in Hopedale, LA. 12-08-10 with my buddy George and Capt Gene Dugas of RatherBe Fishing Adventures (www.ratherbe-fishing.com). The weather was much more conducive to duck hunting than fishing...man it was cold, but we absolutely put the hammer down on Speckled Trout...including fish up to 4lbs...we limited on Specks and Redfish. INCREDIBLE DAY!!! There is no one like Capt Gene when it comes to fishing the marshes...he is THE MAN! Much thanks Gene for one of our best trips yet!!! If you want a trip of a lifetime, Capt Gene is your guy!!! We caught all of the Trout in the first couple of hours and then when the temperature started dropping, thats when we started hammering the Reds!
